Antique & Gift Shop
- Open During Museum Hours
- 10:00 to 3:00 Tuesday – Saturday
- 12:00 to 3:00 Sunday
The Antique & Gift Shop is operated by volunteers as a benefit to the Museum. Items offered for sale include antique tools, kitchen wares, small furniture items, tablecloths, hats, handcrafted goods and limited edibles, such as maple syrup. The display is always changing as new items come in regularly.
A handful of volunteers make and sell their wares at the shop. We are always looking for new volunteers to work a sales shift during Museum hours. Makers, willing to work regular shifts and whose product fits in with the vintage flavor of product offered, are invited to contact us for review of their work and availability schedule. Vendors are paid once a month, with a sliding scale of commission, based on number of hours worked. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to simply take things in on consignment without a work commitment.
Donations of antique and vintage items to the Museum Shop are always welcome. If you are clearing out your house, barn or garage and have special, older items that just don’t serve you anymore, please consider donating them to the Museum Shops. We will sort through and determine whether the items would be well suited for sale in the Antique Shop or possibly in our Thrift Store. All proceeds from the sale of your donated items, go directly to support the Pine County Historical Society Museum and Event Center.
Ye Olde Museum Thrift Shoppe
- Open Seasonally (May through September)
- 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday
Saturdays in summer aren’t complete without a stop at Ye Olde Museum Thrift Shoppe. Dedicated thrift shop volunteers work in this historic church building to keep things moving through.
Merchandise offered for sale is provided by donations from the community as well as specialty items that didn’t quite make it into the Museum collection nor into the Antique Shop. All proceeds generated from sales at the Thrift Shoppe benefit the Historical Society Museum.
